I’m in love with the use of dramatic drapery and soft earthy tones in this loft. I could definitely live here!

{everyday beautiful life: dream sequins}
Today’s guest is Editor-in-Chief of Dream Sequins, Deanne Yee. Dream Sequins began in 2008 and covers emerging fashion and boutiques across the globe. Check her blog for some backstage looks of NYFW, beauty reviews, and all things fashionable. Here are a few things that this stylish guest finds beautiful.
I love the verses of Edna St. Vincent Millay. She lived this passionate inner and outer life and was the first woman to win a Pulitzer for poetry.
The beaches of Thailand. We took a boat tour of some of those far off islands near Phuket. I won’t forget the temperature of the water and the clarity of it… True beauty.
Hair accessories. Right now I am mad for them.
A good solid writing instrument. I am not talking about iPhones or laptops. I want a nice heavy pen to write real, considerate notes and letters to friends.
Dark red lipstick. My wardrobe has gotten very light and unexpectedly colorful lately. So I love pairing these innocent looks with a darker lip.

{everyday beautiful life: this is glamorous}
With all the madness of the past few weeks {including this blog being hacked}, I’m happy to be getting back to blogging. I’m especially excited to get this series going again. What better way to resume the series than with the blogger who first inspired me to blog? Our guest today is Roseline of This Is Glamorous. Her amazing blog never fails to take my breath away, as I’m sure it does yours. I hope you enjoy her post as much as I do. Here are a few things that make her life everyday beautiful…
{memories}
. . . film tickets from late-summer nights, blowing kisses in photo booths, champagne corks from momentous occasions, stacks and stacks of faded photographs and love letters tied with ribbon — a hopeless romantic and at times all together too sentimental, tend to keep small remembrances of beautiful moments . . .
{the ocean}
. . . what is it about the lull of crashing waves and soft, sandy shores that seem to fill sunlit afternoons with reveries and endless possibilities?
{traveling}
. . . whether it’s a weekend away or a week in paris, taking in the moments of life in a far-off place is one of the loveliest things . . .
{little luxuries}
. . . a weekly bouquet of hollywood cerise roses or a new pair of heels, a summer picnic or a handwritten letter, vintage champagne or being lost in daydreams — little luxuries are like moments of repose in the midst of busy days . . .
{being in love}
. . . it is said to make the world go round and is by far the best thing of all . . .
{bit of beauty: perfection}
I’d like to live here. Yes, I know it’s a shop, but wouldn’t it be cool?

{candy colored circus}
I’ve got a thing for candy colored everything this week. Can you tell? I’d be happy to sit at a circus with popcorn and cotton candy in hand. I’ve secretly always wanted to learn the trapeze or silk ropes. I think I would have been the type to run away with the circus.

{balloons & macarons}
In the mood for sweet treats in pretty colors and these enormous balloons that feel straight out of my childhood dreams. Above all, I love the muted colors of the balloons. They look like the ones I dreamt of as a child, despite having never seen balloons as beautiful as these in my childhood.

{bits of beauty guest post}
I did a guest post over at Sacramento Street yesterday. Take a look at 10 Things That Make Me Happy for a few of my favorite things and a little secret as to where I get my perfume. {Something, I’ve never shared before!}
