{dip-dyed perfection}

It’s hard not to breathe a little deeper, a little slower, when looking upon an exquisite sky that looks as if it’s been dip dyed in an ocean of dusty peaches and wisteria. This dress appears to have been dyed in the same ocean, because it perfectly reflects the ocean and sky in Moore’s lovely photograph.

{for the love of cotton & silk}

The weather is still cool out, which is perfect for a blanket and book on the beach. Despite having been born Floridian, I prefer to spend a breezy, not too hot day at the beach in a silk dress or cotton tunic. Setting aside my hatred for the heat, I must admit that the benefit to living in South Florida {and not having a dress code for work} is that I can indulge in my romantic, beachy, piscean style.

Maybe it’s because of where I was born that I have little willpower to resist anything of gauzy cotton or washed silk, especially in pleats or ruched. Anything in white, cream, or pale rose easily wins my heart. So, when presented with a combination of these, I simply swoon.
